Dr. Melissa did her residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Family Medicine in Charlotte, NC. She began providing hormone therapy and gender expansive care in 2016 when she saw there was a need for Primary Care physicians for transgender patients. She has been a member of CTHCG since 2016 and is Board President of Transcend Charlotte. She lives in Plaza Midwood and her private practice is also in the Plaza Midwood area. She does the Direct Primary Care model so she can spend more time with patients, offer significant discounts on labs/medications, and is easily assessible when patients need her.
