Dr. Charnin’s work is rooted in treatment of complex trauma and is passionate about attachment healing. In following her research roots in dismantling bias in education systems, she has consulted with schools and businesses to integrate trauma-informed, identity-affirming practices. Dr. Charnin primarily works with adolescents, parents and adults. She also specializes in neurodivergent populations. Dr. Charnin embodies cisgender and straight-passing identities. She integrates a a somatic, trauma-informed biopsychosocial approach within her work.
