Cindy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual psychotherapy to teens and adults. She started working in the Social Work field in 2006, and her early work focused on providing in-home therapy to children and families experiencing crisis situations. In 2018, Cindy transitioned to work full-time as a psychotherapist with specific focuses on supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and survivors of complex trauma. Cindy primarily uses a strengths-based and systems-focused perspective in working with all clients. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR and Schema Therapy and incorporates these models as needed into sessions. Cindy has been a member of Charlotte Trans Health since 2019, and has experience providing HRT and surgery letters for individuals seeking affirming medical care. Cindy and her wife have been married since 2015, and live with their 2 dogs and 1 cat in the suburbs of Charlotte. In her free time, Cindy enjoys watching sports of all kinds, hiking with her family, and playing video games.
