Annada earned a BFA from the Ohio State University and a PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from UNCC. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at WCU’s Counseling Center. While a graduate student, she received a certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies, taught child and adolescent psychology, and completed internships at Atrium’s IOP program for adolescents and at Carolina Rehabilitation. Her dissertation focused on understanding deliberate self-harm among young women. She has been working with gender-expansive youth and their families since approximately 2014. She is a member of MPA, CTHCG, NCPA, and the DBT Charlotte Consortium.
