Dr. Segura is a cis white female Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She earned her B.A. from Brown University and completed her post-baccalaureate premedical studies at Goucher College. She earned her M.D. from Wake Forest University and completed her General Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. She enjoys working with gender diverse individuals and specializes in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD with a combination of medication and therapy. She joined the Charlotte Transgender Healthcare Group in 2014.
